Based on a poster for Parisian bicycle manufacturer, Gladiator Cycle by Georges Massias, this mural is a relic from the brief time The Ojai Pool Store shared their space with the Mob Shop, a bicycle shop now located in downtown Ojai.
Marlene Pasco chose the image which was adapted to include the mermaid tail and the team used projection to trace the image onto the building. From there it was a family effort from the folks at the Pool Store.
